YL-4 Automatic Counting Machine: Troubleshooting Guide

Here offers a troubleshooting guide for automatic pill counter. This chart contains 7 faults. According to the causes to fix them could be much easier.

| 1 | Material comes out simultaneously in both sides. | Position of the orbit outlet is incorrect; it should be fixed in the middle of electric eye base. |

| 2. Capsules or tablets are stuck in front of the infrared emitter. | ||
| 3. Infrared emitter failed. | ||
| 4. Infrared emitter is not aligned to electric eye. | ||
| 3 | The pill number displayed on the screen does not change, and indicator of electric eye remains OFF. | 1. Socket of electric eye is not plugged. |
| 2. Electric eye is in short circuit or welding point drop down. | ||
| 3. Direct lighting towards the machine. | ||
| 4. Machines placed outdoors or near window, under direct sunlight. | ||
| 4 | Number incorrect (0 to 3 per bottle) | 1. Rotating speed is too high. |
| 2. Doped with debris. | ||
| 3. Position of orbit outlet is slightly biased, which should be fixed in the middle of electric eye base. | ||
| 4. Position of skew is too high. | ||
| 5. Material piling leads to overlap. | ||
| 5 | Number incorrect (bigger than 10 per bottle) | 1. Electric eye is covered by powder. |
| 2. Infrared LED fault. | ||
| 3. Machines placed near window, under direct sunlight. | ||
| 4. Light indoor is too strong. | ||
| 5. Electric eye is aging. | ||
| 6. Isolation plug is in poor contact. Loose joints, or open circuit of internal copper lead to poor contact. | ||
| 6 | Glass disc cannot rotate. | 1. Glass jammed - push the glass with hand, if it is completely unable to be move, then the glass may be stuck by capsules or orbit; if there are clearance, it may be the problem of gears, motors, circuit, so please check them sequentially. |
| 2. Fixing screws on glass disc are loose off. | ||
| 3. Screw on gear is loose off, or reduction gear in motor is worn. | ||
| 4. Check circuit, including switches, motor connectors, governor, knobs, fuses, etc. | ||
| 7 | Capsules cannot swing around. | 1. Electric iron burned. |
| 2. Rod and fork shaker need refueling. | ||
| 3. When filling the tablet, edge and metal are in friction. |
